It depends on the ingredients. A lot of mineral makeup pose as the next generation of cosmetics but are filled with just as much stuff as regular so you will need to look at the ingredients. If your used to 1 type already some skin can go through what seems like a bit of a detox when you switch to a mineral makeup. It doesn’t clog your pores but you might get small surface zits for a week then that’s it.
I usually end up starting on sale and trying out tons products. Do what fits your situation and I bet your gut will be best. I research at http://BrandsMakeup.com
If it has bismuth oxychloride in it, you might break out. Bismuth can clog pores and cause acne.
It makes me itch!
I use LA Minerals and love it. My skin stays perfectly clear:)
if it has bismuth oxychloride stay away from it. Sheer cover does have bismuth oxychloride and so does bare escentuals. I would stick with the least amount of ingredients as possible and stay as close to natural/organic as possible. I use Faerie Organic’s mineral foundation and find it is the best I have used. They have sample kits you can try out here…………..http://www.faerieorganic.com
